The Bible Book: A User's Guide

New and Revised edition

by Nick Page

GoodBookStall Review:
The review of the first edition.
Nick Page, the author, says ‘The fact is that for most people the Bible is like some enormous foreign land. They don’t go there because they think they won’t understand the customs or the language. I use humour, graphics, pictures – whatever it takes to help people explore’ The result is a handbook packed full of information, but presented in a way accessible to a modern generation. So many new Christians or enquirers have been put off by the unfamiliar language of the older translations of the Bible. Nick Page has asked young people what style of guide they are used to in their homes, and used that information in compiling this book using modern idioms and presentation.
A lot of new information has been added into this new edition, maps, new features, a new section on the early church, and some photos and drawings.Hours of enjoyment can be had just browsing through as I have done or it can be used as a handy reference book for seeking something specific.
